Interferometry as a discipline proves useful in a wide range of applications. Interferometric setups can just as easily be found in the laboratories of educational institutions as in cutting-edge industrial systems for many different purposes.

In this webinar we will demonstrate the simulation of a series of interferometric setups. Furthermore, we will illustrate some of the features which make VirtualLab Fusion a particularly user-friendly and efficient simulation tool for a wide range of interferometers.

Simulation and Analysis of high-NA Freeform Surfaces

The use of lightguides with diffraction gratings has become of great interest in the development of augmented reality and mixed reality glasses. The propagation of light through such lightguides requires simulation techniques beyond ray tracing. This webinar will introduce you to a suitable physical-optics modeling technology and demonstrate it in the software VirtualLab Fusion. The webinar will also address the challenges in the design of such lightguides with different layouts and architectures.
